Inspired by the phonetically similar phrase “okay”, OKI brand is named as it is catchy and easy to pronounce. It also conveys commendation of the products under OKI brand.
Our History
OKI was first launched as a cooking oil brand in Singapore for export to Dubai, United Arab Emirates in late 1970s. Through Dubai as a gateway into neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar, OKI has since grown and marked its footprints in Middle East Countries, followed by Africa countries.
