Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread

Korean cream cheese garlic bread, a very popular Korean street food that has been trending for the past year .
Filled with cream cheese, then coated with a savory sweet garlic butter sauce, it’s so soft, creamy and full of delicious garlicky cheese flavor. You have to try this!

Ingredients:

? Bread
550g bread flour
60g all-purpose flour
2g salt
60g sugar
4g Instant Yeast
2 eggs
1 baguette
2 eggs
300g cold water
60g margarine

Garlic Butter Sauce
250g Butter (unsalted)
100g minced garlic
60g OKI sweetened beverage creamer
40g honey
5g dried parsley
2 eggs

50g whipping cream
30g Castor sugar

Cooking Instructions

1. To prepare the bread. In a large mixing bowl, put in bread flour, all-purpose flour, salt, sugar and instant yeast. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Then add in eggs and cold water until the dough is formed. Lastly, add in margarine until the dough is well developed. Knead the dough with cleaned hand until the dough is smooth, elastic, and can stretch thinly.
2. Place the dough in a clean mixing bowl. Cover with cling wrap and rest the dough for 1 hour.
3. After rising, divide the dough into 50g each. Shape the kneaded dough into a ball.
4. Proof the dough for 1 hour. Brush with egg wash and bake at 180C for 1 hour.
5. Let them cool completely. Once cool, slice through the top of the bread, but not all the way. in three intersecting lines to form wedges.
6. To prepare the garlic butter sauce. Melt the butter over medium low heat. Then off the heat and add in minced garlic, OKI sweetened beverage creamer, honey, dried parsley and eggs until well combined. Set aside.
7. To prepare cheese filling. In a mixing bowl, use a paddle to mix OKI cream cheese preparation, whipping cream and castor sugar. Set aside.
8. To make the Korean Garlic Bread. Transfer the cheese filling into a piping bag, pipe into the slit of breads that cut earlier, then scoop some garlic butter sauce over the buns until fully coated.
9. Bake the breads at 200C for 10 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!!
